In order to emphasize the presence of the new food and beverage offerings, we used a probe lens to get extremely close to the subjects, amplifying their presence in the frame.
In the opening shot, the probe lens allowed us to move the camera directly in between a croissant and coffee sitting on a cafe table. The result was a wide shot establishing the space, that dollied seamlessly backward into a majestic product shot, firmly planting the new offerings within the center of the cafe.
Our graphics team animated some playful text to match the energy of the visuals, often interacting with what’s happening onscreen.
The best part of working on this project was finding ways to express the jubilant energy of the announcement. The probe lens lends itself to a lot of experimentation, and we were able to find some exciting shots to propel the spot.
