Our video recreates the piercing lights and sounds that Tia, a migraine sufferer experiences, giving the viewer a relatable, tangible feeling as she narrates her excruciating journey. When the cacophany stops it's palpable what kind of change Nurtec ODT brings her, and how effective the use light and sound were as devices in the making of this spot.
We wanted to create something relatable and memorable. Following a "day in the life," of the subjects is the moment of truth as you realize how much they have to get done all while experiencing a debilitating migraine. It drives home that thought, "what would it be like for me?" In the end, you feel joy knowing the subject has found relief and able to enjoy their every day lives.
For each episode we interviewed our subjects to find out as much as we could about their experience with their migraines. We then filmed them in their homes to recreate that journey as realistically as possible.
Recreating the visceral, painful journey of a migraine using striking visuals and audio for viewers to understand drives home the need for relief and for Nurtec in their lives. The shared journey makes it even more relatable and urgent, bringing the spot home.
